What is The Cranium Club?
The Cranium Club is for students who are interested in going "above and beyond" the learning we do in the classroom. Students who are interested in stretching their brains can work on Cranium Club questions during free time at home or at school.
Each time you answer a question correctly, you earn a point! You can be a 1 point member, all the way up to an 86 point member. Here are the criteria for getting into each member group:
Bronze Members: 1-17 Points
Silver Members: 18-34 Points
Gold Members: 35-51 Points
Brainiac Members: 52-68 Points
Crainiator Members: 69-86 Points
Members will have their names posted in the room and on the website.
How do I participate?
It’s easy! Choose any question from the Cranium Club Challenge page and research it (a website link is provided) in order to find the answer. Then, copy the question and answer in your Cranium Club Notebook. Students must memorize the answer to the Cranium Cub question (therefore, actually learning and retaining new knowledge). Students can use their notes to study, and students can quiz each other. When a student is ready, they will make an appointment with me during recess or lunch. I will record their scores in my Cranium Club Notebook.
What is the Cranium Club Notebook?
I will give you a notebook, but you can use whatever you feel comfortable using! When recording in your Cranium Club Notebook, please put the number of the question, copy the question, and then its answer below. Keep it organized please! Slip lines in between questions; use neat handwriting,
etc…
Cranium Club Hall of Fame
Once you've earned 25 points, you will become a permanent member of the Cranium Club Hall of Fame. Hall of Famers received a special reward and their name is posted FOREVER on the Wall of Fame in Mrs. Micinski's room and on this website.
